CITY SCHOLARSHIPS PROGRAM (for college and diploma courses) APPLICATION 2025
A. GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Applicant must be a Filipino Citizen;
- Applicant is a permanent resident of Cagayan de Oro City;
- Applicant must be pursuing an undergraduate degree on a full-time basis;
- Applicant must be a graduate of Senior High School;
- Applicant must be incoming first year college student by start of S.Y. 2025-2026;
- Applicant must NOT have been enrolled in College;
- Applicant must NOT have an exceeded gross total family income to Php 300,000 annually;
- Applicant must NOT have a sibling or family member that is currently a City Scholar.
PRIORITY COURSES
- Agriculture (Agribusiness, Biosystems Engineering, Crop Science)
- Business and Tourism
- Education (Major in TLE, Filipino, and Special Education)
- Engineering
- Information and Communication Technologies (Data Science, Computer Science, and IT)
- Medical-related Courses (Nursing; subject for evaluation of the Scholarships Committee)
B. SCHOLARSHIP TYPES
1. Academic Scholarship - Accepted applicants may choose any partner school of choice and any course including board and medical-related courses (e.g., Nursing, Med Tech, Pharmacy etc.) depending on the actual ranking of the applicant.
2. Non-academic - Accepted applicants may only choose any non-board and non-medical-related course in a school approved by the City Scholarships Committee.

D. REQUIREMENTS
Compile and submit scanned copies of the following documents ONLINE in PDF file through the link provided under STEP 2 of the APPLICATION PROCESS.
- Scanned copy of grades (Grade 12 first semester)
-For ALS Graduates, Senior High Certificate of Completion - Birth Certificate
- Certificate of Residency of Applicant indicating specific address in Cagayan de Oro with length of residence
- Residence map with landmark of home address for validation purposes
- Photo if residence for validation purposes
- COMELEC Registration of the applicant or their parents
- Parent's Proof of Income (Choose whichever is applicable):
- If indigent parents,
  - Barangay Certification indicating the source of income of both parents and total family income;
-Or BIR Certificate of Tax Exemption for unemployed parents
- If employed or self-employed parents,
-BIR Income Tax Return
If applicable/optional:
- Summary of Senior High School Awards and Leadership signed by the School Principal
- PWD ID of the applicant
- 4Ps ID of parents/applicant
- Solo Parent ID of parent
- Certification of Indigenous People Membership

E. APPLICATION PROCESS
1. ONLINE APPLICATION
-Accomplish the application form at https://onlineservices.cagayandeoro.gov.ph:8087/cityscholar/apply-scholar
- Application period will be from February 3 to March 3, 2025.
2. ONLINE SUBMISSION
- Submit complete requirements ONLINE and in PDF file at bit.ly/ISDASubmit2025 or scan the QR code. Submission link will open on February 17 and will close on March 17.

3. QUALIFYING EXAM (FACE-TO-FACE)
APRIL 21-25 -Qualifying Exam for City Proper-residing applicants
APRIL 26 - Qualifying Exam for Upland-residing applicants
4. RESULTS AND PLACEMENT
